A: All your SMS messages to the Philippines are charged at local rate.

Php 1.00 per message (sent to all Smart mobile numbers)
Php 2.50 per message (sent to Globe mobile numbers)
Php 2.50 per message (sent to other mobile numbers)
php 2.50 per message (sent to landline text messaging)
So, even if you are in New York, and you send a text message to the Philippines, using Smart Plug N talk, you will just pay P1.00 per message!

Q: And how much do I get charged for my calls to the Philippines?
A: All your calls to the Philippines are charged at Philippine local rate, as well.
For calls:
Php 6.50 per minute (calls to Smart Gold / Infinity)
PhP 7.50 per minute (calls to Smart Buddy / Pinoy SIM)
Php 8.50 per minute (calls to Globe mobile numbers)
PhP 8.50 per minute (calls to other mobile numbers)
Php 8.50 per minute (calls to Philippine landlines)
So again, even if you are in London, when you call the Philippines using SMART Plug N Talk, it's just like you are in Manila, calling Manila (on mobile).

A: Yes, of course. It will have a normal SMART mobile number. Format: 0921 XXX XXXX , 0920 XXX XXX, etc. Anybody can call you and text you on this number.

Q: Is there a monthly fee to pay for SMART Plug N Talk?
A: No. SMART Plug N Talk works just like a normal pay-as-you-go. You just buy the Plug N Talk USB device, one time. Then you just need to top-up or "reload" as needed.

Q: How can I do a top-up or "reload" for my SMART Plug N Talk?
A: You can just buy a normal SMART scratch card, SMART eLoad, or do a PasaLoad! (You can always buy eLoad from our website, of course.)

Q: What does "USB" mean?
A: "USB" means Universal Serial Bus. In plain language, it is a standard format of "connection" (as in "plug and socket") so you can easily plug one device (or "equipment") to another.

Q: I use Skype and Yahoo. Do I save more with SMART Plug N Talk?
A: Communicating thru Sype or Yahoo is good. But you both need to have computer on (abroad and in the Philippines) to get in touch. With Plug N Talk, you can call any phone in the Philippines.
